Blepharoplasty

It is the surgical procedure that aesthetically and/or functionally modifies the eyelids. It rejuvenates the gaze by removing excess fat and skin that protrudes, and in some individuals, improves the field of vision (eye opening).

Upper eyelid blepharoplasty (both eyelids): 1 hour.
Lower eyelid blepharoplasty (both eyelids): 1 hour.

Blepharoplasty is the surgery that rejuvenates the face the most, as it helps patients avoid looking tired or fatigued, and instead, gives them a radiant, rested, and full expression. In upper blepharoplasty, it is often necessary to correct blepharoptosis or drooping eyelids as a complementary procedure.

In lower blepharoplasty, the goal is to remove the fat pads that, over time, herniate and become visible, causing the eye to appear swollen or puffy. Additionally, it eliminates a groove in the under-eye area known as the “tear trough”.
