Facial Contouring (Facial Liposculpture)

It is a surgical procedure performed through liposuction of fat located in areas such as the chin, area below the jaw, neck, and cheeks, in order to make the bony structures beneath the removed fat more visible, achieving a more angular and contoured facial shape. In older patients, it may require sutures to tighten the lower chin area to achieve greater definition.

This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, sedation, or general anesthesia when done in conjunction with other facial rejuvenation procedures. Using aspiration cannulas, localized fat is removed from the double chin area and the lower third of the face, always paying close attention to technique and the amount of fat extracted in order to reduce postoperative fibrosis.
